Ryan Mahabir is an associate based in G&M's Charlotte office. He focuses his practice on bankruptcy, corporate restructuring, and related commercial matters, serving clients across G&M's core practice areas. He is also a Registered Patent Attorney licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Mahabir earned his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, where he attended on Byrum and Holleman scholarships. During law school, he served as Articles Editor and Research Editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law, where he honed his editorial discernment and precision in substantive legal analysis.

Prior to law school, Mr. Mahabir earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, providing him with a strong analytical and technical foundation.

Mr. Mahabir joined G&M from Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP.

In his spare time, Mr. Mahabir enjoys playing bass guitar and is an avid aquarist and cinephile.
